Description

This is a pair of NOS Ford valve covers, Ford part number E5SZ 6582 A which are correct for Ford LTD, Thunderbird, Mustang, Mercury Capri and others Ford  cars for the years of 1984 1985 1986 1987 equipped with the 3.8 L, V6 engine.  On many of these models Ford originally used a plastic valve cover which was not a good idea, as they cracked and warped and leaked.   This is the heavy gauge steel part that was issued in 1986 to replace all those crappy plastic valve covers.  Left and Right side are the same for that engine so you will receive 2 NOS covers in the original boxes which is enough to do one engine.   These have been obsolete for many years, so you will likely never see another pair for sale.
