INTERNATIONAL MOTOR SHOW
FACTORY PRESS KIT
This is an Automobili Lamborghini official factory press kit for the Murcielago.  It measures approximately 8-3/4" x 12" and opens to a three-panel pocketed brochure.  The hardbound packet is finished in matte black and embossed with a rear 3/4 view of the Murcielago when open as shown in the photo.  The kit contains an 18-page booklet detailing the  design concept, engine, transmission, electronics, chassis, suspension, brakes, safety features and equipment.  A technical data page, engine horsepower and torque curves and a dimensional summary are also included in the booklet.  A CD with 24 images of the Murcielago in yellow and green, various photos from the factory and the informational booklet noted above in English, Italian, German and Japanese is provided.  A movie is also on the CD but my computer is unable to view it.  Not sure what format was used to create this movie.  Finally, the press kit has a separate packet containing the same 24 images from the CD as well as eight 6" x 8" glossy photos on high quality stock.
I believe I obtained this package
while attending the 2001 Tokyo Motor Show and it has been in our smoke-free homes since then.  Overall, all of the materials are in excellent condition with no tears, stains, discolorations or fading of any kind.  All the graphics, photos and lettering on the printed material are clear and crisp with excellent detail and vivid colors.  The CD functions perfectly (except for the movie viewing) and is ready for downloading the images.
If you are a collector of major motor show press materials, Automobili Lamborghini promotional materials or actually are fortunate enough to own one of these magnificent first generation Murcielago coupes(!), here's a great chance to acquire an authentic, rare example of factory Lamborghini-produced, detailed information for your automotive collection.
