VTG Bronze Painted Faux Wooden Swan Candy Dish Holder w/ Glass Leaf Shaped Dish.
I’m at loss on these. They were my Grandma’s, she kept hard Candy in them. They weigh a ton (little over 4lbs). They are very intricate, each feather is very detailed. It sits on a black base (with a felt cloth) that is the same material and appears to be 1 continuous piece of material for the entire swan. It’s not metal (magnet won’t stick) it doesn’t feel like wood, so I don’t know. They are very beautiful and any swan lover or candy dish aficionado would be happy to have 1. I do have 2 of them, but I am selling them individually. If you are interested in both, message me and I will figure out the proper shipping cost. The price listed is for 1.
They each stand 8.5” tall, 6” wide and 9” long. Weighing in at 4lbs 6oz. With 1lb of that being the glass candy dish itself. It is removable, it’s in what I would call a lettuce leaf pattern. It fits into the swan perfectly with little to no wiggle or jiggle room. It’s very secure and perfect for little hands to be able to grab candy and not knock the glass out.
