    Authenticity
: This print was never displayed or sold Disneyland but has been
    stored in Stock.
This print has remained 'under cover' since the day it was printed ~ This print has never been
    '
distributed', 'circulated' or otherwise exposed to the outside world ~ I personally 'ran' this and other classic Walt Disney animation Dye Transfer prints for Disneyland at the Burbank lab not far from the Walt Disney Studios and the process is multi-faceted!
I am an animation artist alum, and my father was lead animator for the characters,
    'Peter Pan'
    on the feature and
    Tramp
    on '
    Lady and the Tramp',
which inspired me into the wonderful world of animation.
In the mid 50's to late 1960's, Disneyland began selling Dye Transfer prints from animation production Artwork. All of the characters and animation art chosen, were from the classic feature films and animated shorts and the prints made from the animated productions, were distributed at Disneyland.
The Dye Transfer Print process for Authentic Animation Reproduction
    ·
Particular inked and painted cells with a specific background were selected from a sequence of Walt Disney animation production originals, which had comprised a piece of action and photographed as a still.
This was a special photo set-up and was printed as a Dye Transfer, an expensive 3-color (CYM) process for Disneyland and sold singularly. A brief explanation of the Dye Transfer process can be seen through a You Tube search, 'The Dye Transfer process'.
Don't miss out on the opportunity to own this delightful and rare piece!
